There are still certainties on EAS/WAS, so we will have this year the 13th European Percid Fish Culture Workshop in Copenhagen. This is even more important to attend as "percid-lover" as there is no specific Percid session within the EAS/WAS conference.

14:15 Development of an automated assessment of the quality of pikeperch, Dr. Sinem Zeytin-Schüning, Alfred-Wegener-Institut (AWI).
Automated determination of the degree of deformation/percentage of deformed larvae, juvenile or market-size pike perch will make the work of breeders easier in future.
A simplified and largely automated determination of image analysis is being developed to assess the quality of the fish within the research project “QualiZander”.

By using a new commercial feed inagro could shorten the time of feeding enriched artemia with 5 days.

Before the end of 2024 Inagro will stop his inhouse reproduction of pikeperch and by consequence is selling the genetics and broodstock.
