DIVERSIFY pikeperch workshop

The pikeperch (Sander lucioperca) is one of the six species selected for the European project DIVERSIFY (FP7, GA 603121) a five-year project for the diversification of the European aquaculture using new/emerging finfish species. Part of the dissemination activities of DIVERSIFY includes the organization of species-specific knowledge-transfer workshops to facilitate know-how transfer towards fish farmers. The event is opened to all people and has no registration fee.

EPFC Workshop at AQUA2018

The 7th edition of the annual EPFC workshop at Aquaculture Europe conference events will take place on August 25th, 2018, in Montpellier, France at the venue of AQUA2018. The workshop topic is to be announced soon. The workshop will start at 12.00 and close in due time to attend the AQUA2018 opening ceremony.

AQUA 2018 - Targeted Species - Percid Fish

25.08 - 29.08.2018

The general scope of the session is to open the discussion on the aquaculture of percid fish which, although quite varied, can presently be condensed into a few problematic areas, identified by stakeholders as curtailing expansion. The session will include four sub-themes, covering the most important fields and challenges facing the expansion of percid aquaculture.

Inagro Reproduction 2018

17.-21.09.2018

In 2018, our fellow colleague Stefan Teerlinck from Inagro in Belgium is hosting for the second time a five-day workshop providing hands-on practical training on all relevant aspects in relation to Reproduction of European pikeperch (Sander lucioperca). Organized and hosted by Stefan Teerlinck (Inagro) and taught by skilled experts Daniel Zarski (UWM) and Uros Ljubobratovic (NARIC) this workshop will combine theoretical and practical classes from induction of reproduction to egg quality assessment. After this workshop, participants will be able to improve and standardize their own reproduction on farm level.
